When will I receive my package?

Packages to Ireland take 1-3 days for delivery. Packages to the UK & EU take 6-10 working days. Please note that each order is subject to availability, although generally most items are always in stock. In the rare event that an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible with an expected delivery date or the option for a refund.

Is it possible to amend my order after it is placed?

Provided your order hasn’t been processed and shipped we can alter your order. Please contact us as soon as possible and we can update your order.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes we do. You can purchase our gift vouchers online or in-store, either in a digital or physical form. Please note that digital vouchers may only be used on the website.

Do you do repairs and cleaning?

Yes, we can clean jewellery and repair certain items. Please see our services page for more information.

What are your opening hours?

Our store is currently closed due to Level 5 restrictions. We will be in the store most days midweek from 11am to 1pm if you would like any queries answered. Regular Opening Hours: We are open Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm. We are closed on Sundays and bank holidays. We are open Sundays in November and December.

Do I need an appointment to visit your store?

Not at all, we welcome walk-ins. Feel free to come in and browse if you’re passing. However, if you would like to make an appointment you can fill in our booking form . If you would prefer we can also offer you an online consultation.

Photography

We have made every reasonable effort to take the best pictures possible to represent our products. Occasionally, due to the nature of photography and the screens on which you view a photograph, there may be minor differences or colours with the actual product and the photograph. If you can’t see the product clearly enough please feel free to contact us and we can send you more images or videos of the product.

Can I have my order engraved?

Some items online are eligible for engraving however the product page on the website will indicate whether this service is available for the particular piece. Should you wish to have your purchase engraved please enter the text in the notes section when you add the item to the cart or at the time of finalising your order. If you forget this step please send us a WhatsApp or email and we can amend the order. (Please note that items that have been engraved cannot be returned or exchanged).

Will you charge sales tax on my order?

For all orders shipped within the European Union, a 23% VAT will be applied. Duties are not charged to shipments made within the EU.

For non-EU purchases duties & VAT charged by Customs are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I collect my online purchase from your store?

Of course, all items on our website have the option of Click and Collect. This is subject to current Covid-19 restrictions.

Do you do ear piercing?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer an ear piercing service.

Do you buy in rings?

Unfortunately we don’t buy in rings at all. We do purchase and trade in some items of vintage & antique gold jewellery, please feel free to pop in and we can advise you.

Do you do valuations?

Yes, we do valuations. Please see our services page for more information.

How do I know my ring/finger size?

The only reliable way to get your ring size is to have your finger measured by a professional jeweller. You should have your finger measured when your hands are not too hot or not too cold, as this can influence the size of your finger. We are now stocking ring sizers which we can post to you and to help you to measure your finger at home. If you’re purchasing the ring as a gift or surprise this may not be an option, in this case you may be able to borrow a ring of theirs and have a jeweller check the size of this ring. However, this may not give an accurate size as if it is for a different finger or even if the borrowed ring isn’t fitting correctly in the first place. As the alterations of rings can be expensive it is important to ensure you have a proper measurement. If you’re unsure please make contact with us and we’d be delighted to advise you.

Will my item be sent in a gift box and can it be gift wrapped?

Of course, all of our products are sent in lovely gift boxes and will be gift wrapped free of charge before we send them out.

What are the shipping fees and delivery times?

We charge €7.95 to deliver to Ireland and all orders over €150 are free. Delivery cost to the EU & UK is €15 and free for orders over €250. All packages are registered, tracked and sent with An Post. You will be provided with a tracking number when we send your order, however, in the unlikely event that you don't receive the tracking number please contact us.

What are the accepted payment methods?

Online orders can be paid via most major Credit or Debit cards and PayPal. We are now also partnered with humm and can provide you with a buy now pay later option. Alternatively, orders can be paid for via Bank Transfer.

Are my card details safe online?

Our payments are safely and securely processed by Shopify payments. Alternatively you can pay using PayPal.

Can I make my purchase using two separate cards?

Unfortunately this isn’t possible through the website, however, you can purchase an item like this in-store or over the phone.

Do you take deposits?

With a large purchase we know that it can be easier to spread the payment out over a few months. You can put an item away in store with a 20% deposit and pay it off over the next three months. We are now partnered with humm and can provide a Buy Now, Pay Later option!

What is your returns policy?

With any item purchased in our physical store in Cork City, it may be returned within 2 weeks for exchange or credit note. The item must be unworn, in it's original packaging and be accompanied by a receipt or gift receipt. With our online orders, we strive to deliver a high quality product which we are sure you will be pleased with. However, due to the nature of online purchases, the fact that you can’t pick up and inspect a product, sometimes the colour or size may not be as expected. If you are not happy with an item which you have purchased from us online, you must notify us within 3 days to info@dom.ie. We will then issue you with a returns form. This form must be completed and returned with the item to us for a refund within 14 days of receiving it. UK orders are not eligible for refunds on the cost of shipping.
